Georgina - 2 years of age
The Sleep Issue:
Our 2-year-old daughter had bad sleep cycles with multiple night wakings and was unable to self-soothe and put herself back to bed. We would end up sleeping on her floor practically every night for months.
What changes have you noticed in your baby’s sleep since starting the programme?
Since starting the program, our daughter has learned and accepted our new sleep routine. While some nights are easier than others, we can put her down in her crib while she is fully awake, and she can put herself down and fall asleep on her own. She is also able to put herself back to sleep if she wakes up in the middle of the night.
What changes have you noticed in yourself or your family life?
We are still getting back to a normal schedule after we began the program and travelled for the holidays, so I don't think we've felt big changes just yet. But we are getting more uninterrupted sleep, and getting Georgina back down (if she wakes up or gets upset) has been 100x easier. All of which is amazing!

We are so grateful we found Zara and loved working with her from the start. Henry - 2 years of age

What changes have you noticed in your baby’s sleep since starting the programme?
Naps are no longer a huge battle! And we have the tools/knowledge to create a smooth bedtime routine, as well as strategies for wake-ups
What changes have you noticed in yourself or your family life?
Having insight into what my 2-year-old is experiencing and what he needs when it comes to settling for sleep is extremely reassuring and gives me more confidence going into bedtime.

Zara was incredibly helpful throughout our sleep struggles! She provided us with the information and tools we needed to make bedtime less intimidating and better understand how to help our 2-year-old. I would work with her again and recommend her to any struggling friends!
Lucy - 4 months of age
The Sleep Issue:
Daytime sleep - short naps, leading to a cycle of an overtired baby. Lucy couldn’t connect a 35 min sleep cycle without being held, re-binked.
What changes have you noticed in your baby’s sleep since starting the programme?
Lucy’s naps are predictable and consistent with what’s age-appropriate. Her first nap is closing in on 1 hr, a longer midday nap and a short late afternoon nap. Lucy has a consistent bedtime where she falls asleep independently.
What changes have you noticed in yourself or your family life?
We are no longer doing a long, drawn-out bedtime routine of shushing / rocking/helping Lucy to sleep.

As a 2nd time parent, I thought I had learned from my mistakes, but really I was just about to make a new series of mistakes! Having a resource forced our family to adopt best practices, which quickly led to better sleep for our daughter and a more predictable life for us. I am glad we were nudged to drop the binky. Otherwise, we may have spent the next two years popping in a binky at all hours of the night!
